The Los Angeles Lakers may be approaching one of their most important offseason decisions, and early projections suggest they are unlikely to let Austin Reaves go anywhere.

Erik Beaston of Bleacher Report predicted that Reaves will remain in Los Angeles on a new long-term deal, with a projected four-year contract seen as the most likely outcome.

That projection aligns with reporting from Lakers insider Jovan Buha, who noted that Reaves will prioritize security in his next contract.

“Reaves is going to prioritize getting a four to five-year deal and will push for a longer deal,” Buha said.
