On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Houston Rockets (at home) for Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

The Lakers won by a score of 101-94.

Marcus Smart had a big game, finishing the victory with 25 points, two rebounds, seven assists, five steals and one block while shooting 8/13 from the field and 5/7 from three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Smart has also had stints with the Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics over 12 seasons as a pro.

The 2022 Defensive Player of The Year helped lead the Celtics to the NBA Finals in 2022.

His career averages are 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 38.9% from the field and 32.4% from three-point range in 697 games.

The Lakers currently have a 2-0 lead over the Rockets with Games 3 and 4 in Houston on Friday and Sunday.

They are the fourth seed in the Western Conference after going 53-29.
