We’re only five months into 2026, but the first batch of fan-favorite broadcast and streaming series have already been canceled.
Last year we said goodbye to everything from How to Die Alone, Found, The Recruit, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and beyond. And this year, we’ve learned we’ll have to part with several long-running series, exciting new shows that only got one season to build an audience, and more.
In the spirit of keeping you informed about the fate of your favorite series, Decider compiled all the major 2026 cancelations from networks like ABC, FOX, CBS, and NBC, as well as popular streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Apple TV, Disney+, and more in one handy location. As Upfronts continue and networks keep sharing new schedules and programming slates, more cancellations will likely be announced. So Decider will update accordingly!
As always, the shows on this list aren’t ones that are set to reach their natural conclusion in 2026. That means you won’t find series like Tell Me Lies, Hacks, or The Boys, which ended or will end on their own terms this year. And you won’t find series like The Bachelorette, which didn’t air Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season 22 as planned in March after the lead’s involvement in a domestic violence incident, but is not officially canceled. The titles below are ones that were actively canceled or cut short by higher powers this year.
Brace yourselves, TV lovers. The 2026 cancellation era has begun. So grab your tissues, fire up your group chats, and get ready to learn which beloved series got the boot so far in 2026.
