Vice President Vance said the newly announced Iran agreement calls for the Strait of Hormuz to reopen immediately and is designed to ensure Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon, with further negotiations on the issue expected over the next 60 days. Vance described the framework as a “win-win” for the United States and said the next phase depends on Iran’s willingness to cooperate.
