Dustin Poirier did not seem happy about being removed from his flight, to say the least.

Bodycam footage — shared with multiple outlets — of the former MMA star’s Sunday arrest at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport showed him getting into it with airport employees after he was not allowed to board a Delta Airlines flight.

The 37-year-old, who was arrested on a public drunk charge, was seen at the beginning of the video spouting multiple expletives after he was pulled off the flight, and later seemingly threatened a responding official with a fight.

“Let’s go, big dog. Let’s go, big dog. What’s up? Buncha hos. Let’s go. Let’s go. F–king lying motherf–ker,” Poirier could be heard saying at the beginning of the video outside of Gate D36.

An employee behind him inside the airport then said Poirier was pulled off the plane.

“Yeah, pulled me off the plane, all my boys went to the f–king crib. Now, what the f–k?” he said.

The employee then said the way he was acting was exactly why he was taking off the plane. A responding official then asked if the 2019 UFC Interim Lightweight champ was, in fact, Poirier.

“Man, f–k you, bro,” Poirier responded.

The video shows Poirier saying “f–k you” to the people around him, then saying to the responding official, “I’ll fight you right now, I’ll go with you right now.”

As the official made clear they had no interest in fighting Poirier, the fighter said, “It’s going to be bad” while holding up his fists.

As the official asked Poirier to relax, Poirier responded, “You wanna fight?”

Eventually, after a few more verbal outbursts, Poirier was arrested by police and even gave a fist bump to the official who responded to the scene. Poirier told the official they did a “great job.”

On Tuesday, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed the arrest.

“The primary responding officer recognized Mr. Poirier from his professional fighting background and requested additional units due to his combative behavior,” police said in a public report. “After repeated verbal outbursts and an aggressive stance toward officers, Poirier stated, ‘If you want to arrest me, then go ahead,’ at which point he was taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to Clayton County Jail and charged with public intoxication.”

Poirier released a statement of his own on Tuesday after the bodycam footage came to light.

“I’m at the point where I need some help, walking away from fighting hasn’t been easy on me, and alcohol isn’t the answer,” Poirier posted on his Instagram Story. “It has ruined my father’s life, and I will not allow it to ruin mine. My family deserves me at 100%. I’m trying to do everything I can to get my mind right and take the right next steps”

In January, Poirier revealed that alcohol, which he previously vowed to stop drinking, had been a battle in retirement. But he also said he had completed a 40-day sobriety challenge in the lead-up to New Year’s Day.

“I had retired and had so much time on my hands, and I’m always battling something in my mind,” Poirier told Ariel Helwani. “I’ve always drank alcohol growing up, but it was celebratory — vacation, get-togethers, things like that. Now I’m retired, and I’m sitting at home, and I can have a drink every day. I don’t have to wake up and run miles, I don’t have to wake up and go to the gym, or be somewhere.

“I just wanted to pull back from drinking.”
