There is a narrative that Scottie Scheffler has come back down to earth in 2026.

He is still the World No. 1 and has a win and six top-5 finishes in 10 PGA Tour starts this season, but he was coming off a year that saw him win six trophies and land in the top-10 in 17 of his 24 outings. That said, Scheffler’s first triumph in 2025 didn’t come until May 1 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch in his home state of Texas.

That’s where we head this week, and Scheffler, despite playing like a mortal, is a ridiculous +170 favorite at DraftKings to repeat as champion.

The rest of the field is wanting, Si Woo Kim and Jordan Spieth are the only other players inside of 20/1, and Scheffler did shoot 31-under here last year, but you’re bound to find some value in the field when the favorite is priced under +200.

Brooks Koepka (25/1, FanDuel)

Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour hasn’t gone exactly to plan, but it’s been more good than bad.

There have been a few missed cuts, but Koepka has finished inside the top 20 in half of his 10 starts this season.

He, along with just about everyone else in the field, didn’t cover himself in glory at the PGA Championship, but this week’s course is a completely different animal from the grueling test that Aronimink posed last week.

This is the exact type of setup that Koepka should be targeting to get the prodigal son back in the winner’s circle.

Ryo Hisatsune (47/1, DraftKings)

It feels like Histsune’s maiden PGA Tour win is just around the corner.

The 23-year-old has started percolating, making 13 of 14 cuts and compiling four top-10 finishes and a runner-up already this season.

His immediate form doesn’t look that compelling, but his last three starts came against elite fields on very difficult tracks.

He’ll get a reprieve in both categories this week.

Davis Riley (625/1, DraftKings)

A field like this calls for at least one massive long shot, and I landed on Riley.

He’s really struggled lately, but the Mississippi native has a habit of coming out of nowhere to contend. Riley’s lone PGA Tour win (excluding team events) was sandwiched between a T66 and a missed cut in 2024, and his T2 at last year’s PGA Championship was bookended by missed cuts.
