This week’s new movies on VOD include the Jason Segel-Samara Weaving comedy-thriller Over Your Dead Body, and the animated film Animal Farm (it’s George Orwell, but for kids!).
Also out this week is Fuze, a British crime thriller starring Theo James, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Worthington. In the film, a group of bank robbers plan a heist in London at the same time that an unexploded bomb is discovered near Paddington station and needs to be defused. It’s perfect if you’re searching for a thriller full of interconnected characters, clever misdirects and double crosses.

Over Your Dead Body
In Over Your Dead Body, Jason Segel and Samara Weaving star as an unhappily married coupld who plan a weekend away… to kill each other. As they spend time together in a cabin, they each discover the other’s murder plans, which are interrupted when another group of criminals also has plans to kill them. Murder is fun!
Animal Farm
Andy Serkis directs Animal Farm, an animated riff on the dystopian George Orwell novella about a group of farm animals who revolt when the farm they live on gets repossessed and the new owner plans to slaughter them all. (Murder is fun, Part II: Bring the kids!) Once the animals wrestle control away from the humans however, it turns out self-governance ain’t really their thing. The voice cast on this one is impressive: Seth Rogen, Glenn Close, Gaten Matarazzo, Steve Buscemi and Kieran Culkin are among the stars.
