Joe Tryon-Shoyinka is calling it quits.

The 2021 first-round pick was moved to the reserve/retired list by the Eagles on Tuesday after they signed him to a one-year contract in March.

Tryon-Shoyinka, 27, was taken No. 32 overall in the 2021 draft by the Buccaneers after spending three years with the Washington Huskies.

He spent four seasons in Tampa Bay before playing for the Browns and Bears.

The outside linebacker ends his career with 160 tackles, 15 sacks and two forced fumbles in 82 games and 45 starts.

The Eagles were quick to sign a replacement in defensive end AJ Epenesa, formerly of the Bills.

Epenesa spent six seasons in Buffalo, playing in 91 games and recording 135 tackles, 24 sacks, five forced fumbles, and four interceptions. In 2023, he scored his first and only NFL touchdown to date from a returned interception.

The defensive end was a free agent after the Browns backed out of their one-year, $5 million contract with him because they were uncomfortable with the results of his physical exam.

The Eagles also signed two players from the UFL on Tuesday: wide receiver Erik Ezukanma and defensive back Shaun Wade.

Ezukanma played for the Dolphins from 2022-24, appearing in five games. He had five rushing attempts for 22 yards and one catch for three yards.

Wade is a former fifth-round pick out of Ohio State who played three seasons with the Patriots before heading to the UFL.
