Eagles extend Las Vegas Sphere residency into fall 2026. ...
Matt Levy · 2026-05-06 · via New York Post

At this point, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Deacon Frey, Timothy B. Schmit and Vince Gill just might have to declare residency in Nevada.

Eagles just announced they’re extending their record-breaking Las Vegas Sphere residency yet again.

Their 59th, 60th, 61st, 62nd, 63rd and 64th Sin City shows are scheduled to go down:

Friday, Sept. 18
8:30 p.m.

The classic rockers’ stint at the visually-spectacular venue began in September 2024 and has been extended eight times due to overwhelming demand.

Interestingly, these new dates come after Henley told CBS Sunday Morning News that “2026 will probably be it” for the ’70s hitmakers.

“I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end and that will be fine, too … I’m OK with that. Because I’d like to spend more time with my family and growing vegetables. There are just lots of other things to do.”

While we can’t say for certain that these are the “Hotel California” rockers’ last shows, they certainly could be.

Prior to the run, the best-selling ensemble have four huge shows this May in Atlanta, GA (May 5), Nashville, TN (May 9), Hollywood, FL (May 13) and Arlington, TX (May 16).

Tedeschi Trucks Band will join them for three of those gigs.

Based on our findings at Set List FM, Eagles perform 20 songs per show including fan favorites like “Desperado,” “Take It Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Life In The Fast Lane” and, of course, “Hotel California.”

Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 15 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like SeatGeek.

We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.

Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
