Sadly, it’s another day for you and me without Paradise.
Dan Fogelman’s post-apocalyptic thriller starring Sterling K. Brown as a secret service agent investigating the president’s (James Marsden) murder became a streaming sensation when Season 1 premiered back in January 2025. The show was such a hit that a month after Season 1’s finale dropped on Hulu in March, Paradise received a full first season run on ABC starting April 7, 2025. So can fans of the series who don’t watch on Hulu expect Season 2 to air anytime soon?
The belated broadcast of the streaming series allowed a whole new audience to find and fall in love with Paradise. So when Paradise Season 2’s finale hit Hulu on March 30, 2026, we were eager to learn if the network would once again re-broadcast episodes.
A month after Paradise‘s sophomore season concluded, however, we checked with a rep for the show who told DECIDER there are “currently no plans to rebroadcast the season on ABC.” Unfortunately, those who were hoping to catch weekly episodes of the critically acclaimed Season 2 on broadcast TV will have to wait. But there’s still hope that the sophomore season can air in the future.
The rep assured DECIDER that if plans change and ABC does decide to air Season 2 on the network, we’ll be updated, and we’ll of course update readers.
The decision to hold on rebroadcasting Paradise Season 2 is an interesting move considering the sophomore season received rave reviews from critics and viewers alike, earning a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score as compared to Season 1’s 86% rating. New Season 2 cast members Shailene Woodley and Thomas Doherty dazzled with powerhouse performances. And as with Season 1, which earned four Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series, Season 2 is predicted to receive significant acknowledgement from the Television Academy in 2026.
As Variety reported, Paradise Season 2 even set new streaming records, with the finale reaching a season high of 4.3 million viewers in three days on Hulu and Disney+. “According to Disney, viewership has grown each week since the premiere. The series has also held steady on Nielsen’s weekly list of the top 10 most-watched streaming original series in the U.S.,” the publication noted.
On March 17, ahead of Season 2’s final two episodes, Hulu renewed Paradise for Season 3, which Fogelman confirmed will close out the series. On March 21, the creator announced that Paradise writers’ room had finished writing Season 3, and filming already resumed in early April. When speaking with the Los Angeles Times, Fogelman said he hopes it will air “even quicker” than Season 2. So if ABC plans to rebroadcast Paradise‘s incredible sophomore season at some point, let’s hope the network gives viewers ample time to catch up on the latest eight episodes before Season 3 arrives.
If you’re tired of waiting to watch Paradise Season 2 on ABC, you can always dive into both seasons of the hit series on Hulu. Here’s how:
If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $12.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
Stay tuned for more Paradise coverage from Decider.
