The Boys series finale is hitting the big screen with a theatrical premiere in the United States and Canada for  a special one-night-only event.

Some lucky viewers will get to see The Boys Season 5 finale in 4DX on Tuesday, May 19, 9:30 p.m., one day earlier than the episode is set to premiere on Prime Video.

In a description of this theatrical release, Amazon teased, “Some moments are too big to experience from your couch.”

“The multi-Emmy Award-winning series The Boys reaches its climactic conclusion,” reads the steamer’s synopsis for the series finale. “For one night only, experience the epic series-defining showdown between Butcher and Homelander in 4DX, an explosive final chapter five seasons in the making. With everything on the line, The Boys leave it all behind for one last diabolical stand. Feel every deafening blast and shocking twist as blood, guts and gore are amplified by this total sensory experience. Some moments are too big to experience from your couch. This isn’t just the finale, it’s the bloody big screen.”

The episode will reportedly clock in at a whopping 63 minutes.

Fans will get to enjoy The Boys series finale in a multi-sensory experience in 4DX with motion-based seats that have over 21 different effects in addition to several special effects to simulate weather conditions and action through vibration, water, wind, scents and more.

The Boys will play in 4DX theaters across the United States and Canada, including Regal Cinemas, AMC Theatres, B&B, Marcus, Cineplex, Cinema West, Cinepolis, and Regency.

Fans can get tickets by purchasing a food and beverage credit at this website. Credits are only redeemable at theater concessions on the day of the screening. Credits are already on sale and are non-refundable.

This screening means fans will now have two opportunities to catch Karl Urban on the big screen. The actor is also leading the new video game adaptation Mortal Kombat 2, which premieres in theaters May 8.

This marks the end of the Prime Video hit series, which premiered in 2019 and has earned four Emmy Awards and inspired three spin-off series.
