Just $20: Metro by T-Mobile’s latest deals are hard to ig...

T-Mobile

The right phone plan can make or break your bank account. Some mobile plans can cost you upwards of $50 per month and still not satisfy your wireless browsing needs. Some might be cheaper, but they constantly face connection drops the second you start traveling.

Lucky for you, there’s a phone plan out there that doesn’t just bring you great service but is also currently just $20 a month.

If you’re looking to save on your wireless plan, this is your chance. Metro by T-Mobile has an affordable plan for just $20 for new customers. You’ll need to prepay your first six months up front — but that’s basically less than a single concert ticket these days. The plan includes unlimited talk, text and 5G, keeping you connected to your friends and family at all times. One caveat, though, if you do use upwards of 35GB of data per month, you may notice slower speeds.

When you select this Metro By T-Mobile plan, you can keep the number you currently have — no muss, no fuss. The company also waives activation fees with this deal. What’s more, the $20 price includes both taxes and fees, so you won’t see a hidden charge pop up on your credit card when you sign up for your new plan.

No matter how you use your device, there’s an affordable plan for you, and as an avid T-Mobile user myself, I can safely say I rarely (if ever) face connection drops and the 5G data keeps me connected no matter where I am — in fact, I’ve had my 5G work in situations where my friends’ carriers drop.

That’s not all, though. Metro by T-Mobile has even more enticing offers to check out. First off, you can get an iPhone 16e at no cost. With up to 26 hours of video playback, a durable build and privacy features including Face ID, this iPhone is the smartphone upgrade you need.

To nab your new iPhone, all you have to do is bring your number, ID and sign up for the $50 plan with AutoPay. There is a $99.99 payment initially — think of it as a short-term deposit. After three months of service, you’ll receive a virtual MasterCard with your refund.

Not an Apple user? You can also get a Samsung Galaxy A17 5G (a value of $229.99) completely free. Plus, you’ll get unlimited 5G through the $40-per-month plan. Just sign on, activate your $40 plan, and the phone is yours. Metro by T-Mobile will even give you a five-year price guarantee, so you never have to worry about inflation affecting your phone plan. Same caveats apply here: data usage upwards of 35GB may lead to lower speeds, and you can’t sign on if you’ve been with Metro or T-Mobile in the past 180 days.

No matter what kind of phone user you are, Metro by T-Mobile has a plan for you. And with plans starting at just $20, there really isn’t a better time to make the switch.
