A pair of Government Accountability Office workers nicknamed the “Alien Girls” are touring military bases in an attempt to interview purported UFO witnesses, The Post has learned.

The non-partisan legislative-branch agency launched its probe of UFO disclosures and claims it is reviewing the practices of previous executive-branch alien investigators.

The two unidentified female investigators quickly move from formalities in the interviews to directly asking if their subject has witnessed unexplained craft, sources with direct knowledge of the interviews said.

They also offer their interviewees a classified setting where they can share their out-of-this-world tales, sources said.

Some of those interviewed questioned whether the GAO alien girls had high enough clearance to hear the classified information that some UFO witnesses would be able to share from their personal experiences. 

The agency claimed that their investigation is focused on previous government investigations into UFOs — and that the results will be keep under lock and key.

“GAO has work underway examining the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office’s (AARO) processes for federal agencies’ reporting of UAP. The work is classified and will not result in a publicly available report,” a GAO spokesperson told The Post.

AARO, formed in 2022, is a Department of War program tasked with investigating the federal government’s knowledge of UFOs.

Agency head Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick claimed in 2023 testimony that AARO’s investigation turned up no evidence of UFO technology in the skies above earth or in possession of the US.

Rep. Eric Burlison, who was briefed on the subject by Kirkpatrick as part of AARO’s reporting to the US House Committee On Oversight and Accountability, welcomed the “long overdue” investigation into the controversial agency.

“I fully support the GAO’s investigation into AARO’s practices — it’s long overdue,” Burlison (R-Mo.) told The Post.

“For years, we got these neatly packaged reports and Dr. Kirkpatrick’s testimony claiming ‘no credible evidence’ while downplaying or outright dismissing credible military cases,” he continued.

“Friday’s UAP disclosure under President Trump proves exactly why we needed this,” Burlison concluded.

Fellow disclosure Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) also ripped Kirkpatrick following Friday’s release.

“Let history reflect that Sean Kirkpatrick is a documented liar, deep state shill, and having a very bad day. He was lying to the American people and intimidating witnesses. He was the FORMER director of AARO,” Luna wrote from her official X account.

Kirkpatrick worked stints at the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Defense Intelligence Agency before leading AARO from July 2022 to December 2023.

Kirkpatrick claimed that AARO has always worked with GAO and had pointed words for Rep. Luna.

“As for Luna, it would be in the American Public’s best interest, not to mention national security, if she would stop inflicting her willful ignorance on the rest of us,” Kirkpatrick said in a written statement.

“People cry ‘liar’ when the truth doesn’t conform to their belief even when the evidence contradicts them. if she’s such a snowflake that the truth threatens her, then why entertain her,” Kirkpatrick concluded.
