The Mets finally won a game, topping the list of developments from Citi Field on Wednesday. 

After 12 straight losses, manager Carlos Mendoza could crack a smile from the podium and players celebrated postgame in the clubhouse. It should have been a happy night all around in Queens. 

But isn’t there always a “but” with this franchise? In this case, it’s “but the Mets appear to have lost Francisco Lindor to a calf injury.” 

At least it was fun for four innings.
