The Knicks are running it back with Mohamed Diawara while giving him a chance to be around for years to come.
The team agreed to bring back the young forward on a multiyear contract worth $10-plus million, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday.

The 21-year-old Diwara, who was on a standard contract this past season as the Knicks became NBA champions for the first time since 1973, contributed off the bench. He averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds after being the 51st pick in last year’s draft.
He was set to be a restricted free agent.
