If you can’t afford a trip to Italy this summer, you can live vicariously through Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page in their Italy-based romantic comedy, You, Me, & Tuscany, which is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent tomorrow.

Directed by Kat Coiro (who also directed the 2022 Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy, Marry Me), with a screenplay written by Ryan Engle, You, Me and Tuscany stars Bailey as a young chef named Anna, who impulsively decides to move to Italy after an Italian man she barely knows mentions that he has an empty villa in Tuscany. Anna decides to make use of that abandoned villa by becoming a squatter. But when the owner’s family, find her there, they incorrectly assume she’s his bride-to-be. Oops! Then, Anna meets a handsome cousin named Michael (Page). Double oops!

You, Me & Tuscany feels like a throwback to those ’90s rom-coms with ridiculous plots that we all know and love. These days, those rom-coms usually go straight to streaming via Netflix, but Universal took a chance by releasing You, Me & Tuscany in theaters. It made a respectable $21.6 million at the worldwide box office after one month in theaters, but now Universal hopes to make a little extra cash with the premium video-on-demand release. But before you spend $25 to watch this one at home, you should know that we expect to see You, Me & Tuscany streaming on Peacock later this summer.

Where to watch the You Me and Tuscany movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, May 12 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also May 11 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) You Me and Tuscany will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the film costs $24.99 to buy a digital copy, and $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after hitting “play.”

The You Me and Tuscany DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray release date has not yet been announced. The digital release will come with bonus content including behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a commentary with director Kat Coiro and producer Will Packer.

You Me and Tuscany is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see You Me and Tuscany streaming on Peacock soon, because it is a Universal movie and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. After that, You Me and Tuscany will stream on Amazon Prime, thanks to a deal between Universal and Amazon.

When will You Me and Tuscany movie be streaming on Peacock?

You might see You Me and Tuscany streaming on Peacock as soon as July or August 2026.

The You Me and Tuscany streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced, but we know that You Me and Tuscany will stream on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal movie, and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. All the new Universal theatrical movies end up streaming on Peacock, though the wait period has varied by title.

Another Universal release, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, began streaming on Peacock about four months after the movie opened in theaters. But some movies, like MEGAN 2.0 came to Peacock after just three months. If You Me and Tuscany follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Peacock either in July 2026 or August 2026.

When will You Me and Tuscany be streaming free on Amazon Prime Video?

You will eventually be able to stream You Me and Tuscany on Prime Video, free with a Prime subscription, four months after the movie streams on Peacock. This is thanks to the deal between Universal and Amazon that sends Universal movies to Peacock for the first four months of the “Pay 1 window,” then to Amazon Prime Video for the next months of the window, followed by four more months on Peacock. If our prediction for when You Me and Tuscany will be on Peacock is correct, then you should see You Me and Tuscany streaming on Prime around December 2026 or January 2027.

This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. It varies by title. If you want to watch the You Me and Tuscany movie right away, you can buy or rent a digital copy online.
