There’s a rat at San Vicente Bungalows — but it’s not a rodent!

The ultra-exclusive club has sent out a letter to employees explaining that a suspect staffer brought a deceased rodent to the members club to plant on the premises.

The letter from San Vicente Clubs CEO Jess Wilner — seen by Page Six Hollywood — begins: “Dear Team, Last night, a photograph was brought to our attention showing a dead rat inside a sealed bowl in the employee locker room. The container had been closed in a manner that would not be possible without human intervention, strongly indicating this was an intentional act. Since access to the break room is restricted to team members, it appears this was a deliberate and malicious act by someone within our team. This behavior not only impacts the club but also endangers our health, jobs, and the overall stability of our workplace.”

The club is even offering a $10K reward for anyone who rats out the alleged (human) pest!

“We are currently reviewing security footage as part of an ongoing investigation. Significant evidence has already been collected, and we are working to build a thorough and conclusive case,” read the letter. (We hear that the investigation so far has confirmed that the dead varmint was brought in from the sidewalk off of the property — and surreptitiously imported into the club.)

If ultimately identified the culprit could face termination and legal action. “As you know, we maintain strict standards for food safety and workplace hygiene in accordance with California labor and health regulations,” reads the letter. “Any actions that compromise these standards and jeopardize our business are completely unacceptable. Such conduct may constitute workplace misconduct under California law, leading to immediate termination and being reported to the relevant authorities.”

The twist in the rat’s maze of a story comes after The Post reported an event kitchen at the West Hollywood club was temporarily closed last week when the starry location racked up violations due to the presence of insects, rodents or birds, according to a Los Angeles County health officials.

A spokesperson for the club previously described the space as a “separate event kitchen” that was “temporarily closed as part of an ongoing renovation,” adding, “it was not used to prepare or serve food to guests” during the temporary closure. The spokesperson explained that a health inspector was invited to check the kitchen and a “few items were noted,” but they were “addressed immediately.” The club claimed the event kitchen was “fully approved” within 48 hours but “remains offline” as renovations are completed.

The club’s CEO also wrote in the letter of the suspected staffer: “We are deeply disheartened by this incident. Acts like this not only violate our values but also threaten the safety and stability of your workplace. Rest assured, we will address this matter firmly and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.”

“Our company thrives because of the dedication of our employees. You have been instrumental in building this business, and we remain committed to safeguarding your safety and livelihoods. Thank you for your continued hard work and commitment,” said the letter.
