The boat operator who was reportedly drunk at the wheel when a 19-year-old girl vanished in a Kentucky lake has been arrested.
Cameron P. Conley, 23, was taken into custody for boating under the influence after Kentucky State Police responded to a Wednesday call to help find Marly Kinney, who had gone missing in the waters of Grayson Lake that day, WOWK 13 reported.
While speaking with Conley, a trooper reportedly smelled alcohol and saw his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.
Conley failed a breathalyzer test, was placed under arrest and transported to Carter County Detention Center.
Meanwhile, first responders are still combing the lake and the surrounding areas for the girl who was partying with at least 10 friends when she dove overboard to use the bathroom and never returned.
