The Real Housewives of Rhode Island star Jo-Ellen Tiberi doesn’t regret much, but she does regret opening up about a threesome she once had with her husband and another woman.

Jo-Ellen, her husband Gary Tiberi, and her sister Jen DeSaint all appeared on Sunday night’s (May 10) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen grilled the RHORI star about some things she might regret doing or saying so far this season.

When Cohen asked Jo-Ellen if she regretted sharing in her confessional that she and Gary once had a threesome, she admitted, “I regret it. I should’ve just kept that to myself.” Gary, who was perched at the bar with Jo-Ellen’s sister, didn’t seem to mind that his wife shared their bedroom habits with the world, and when Cohen asked if he regretted the threesome, he quickly replied, “Absolutely not.”

The couple said they never shared another rendezvous with the second woman involved in their threesome. While they didn’t name who she was, Gary made sure to tell viewers who she wasn’t. “It wasn’t Jen,” he said, pointing to his sister-in-law. Gary and DeSaint messed around a bit in high school before he and Jo-Ellen began dating, and even he admitted that some of their interactions can come across as flirty. “We’re best friends and that’s how we act with each other,” he said on WWHL. “Jo-Ellen knows the deal.”

In the first episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Jo-Ellen admitted to participating in a threesome during a game of “Never Have I Ever” with some of her castmates. She doubled down in a later confessional while addressing rumors that she and Gary were swingers.

“I hear this question often. I am not a swinger. Gary and I are not swingers. A few of my friends are swingers. Rhode Island’s a big swinging community. To each their own. I don’t give a shit what they do,” she said, per BravoTV. “I wish Gary would let me and him swing. We had a threesome once. My mom’s gonna hear this.”
