If Alex Cora was going to manage, it almost surely would have been with the Phillies. He and Dave Dombrowski have an excellent relationship from their 2018 World Series title together in Boston.
Cora could actually become a Phillies candidate for 2027.
But good for Cora to accept his kids’ invitation to take the summer off.
“I accepted the position of full-time dad,” Cora told The Post.
