Pro-ICE supporters arrived Saturday outside Delaney Hall in Newark to support federal agents and give the leftist agitators who have descended on the Newark ICE facility a piece of their mind

The 200 pro- and roughly 300 anti-ICE supporters were each cordoned off behind separate barricades, but continued to scream and hurl insults at one another.

“Right now, [ICE is] only doing their job, which is to protect Americans, New Jerseyans and keep these people off the streets,” said John Raftery, 70, who showed up to support ICE wearing a red MAGA hat and a sign that read “American First.”

ICE supporters chanted “We love ICE” and “U-S-A!” in an attempt to drown out the protesters’ screams of “Stop the raid! Stop the hate! Immigration makes us great!”

Pro-Icers called for Gov. Mikie Sherrill to squash the demonstrations in light of the escalations this week.

“This is a bulls–t protest and it should be cleared out. This is a waste of taxpayers’ money. We don’t want to see it,” said Proud Boy member Rufus Cutt.

Tim Walsh, a GOP candidate for Bergen County Clerk, also joined the pro-ICE barricades, telling The Post that the Young Republicans of New Jersey stand with President Trump.

“And they stand for law and order, and the mission of ICE,” said Walsh.

“There are plenty of people who have stories about the conditions inside prison. It’s not a good place. You should stay out of prison, jail, by not breaking the law.”

“It’s a jail, not a hotel,” he added.

Here’s the latest on the anti-ICE clashes outside Newark’s Delaney Hall

The demonstrations Saturday were a far cry from the violence and rioting from the preceding nights, with New Jersey state police successfully barricading protesters behind the “peace zones” that Gov. Miki Sherrill attempted to establish the day before.

“Thank you, NJSP for cooperating with us to restore law and order,” ICE posted on X.

“This partnership sends a clear message: assaults, threats, and abuse towards law enforcement officers WILL NOT be tolerated.”

The anti-ICE protesters appeared at the ready to continue the chaos from earlier this week — which included several arrests and at least one man who drew blood after sinking his teeth into an ICE agent’s arm.

Most of the crowd donned thick masks and goggles — both items of which were included on their wish list to keep them at the front lines of Delaney Hall.

Newark police were also in riot gear in case the anti-ICE protesters– who alleged poor condition of detainees inside the facility, which the Department of Homeland Security vehemently denies — erupted in another round of mayhem.

On Friday, the mob ran rampant outside Delaney Hall and hurled vile chants at police — including calls for them to “kill” themselves and “quit your job.”

They were also were seen breaching an orange protective fence at the facility, dragging the barrier to the sides of the street and continuing to trespass.

ICE agents and police responded with tear gas and pepper spray, to control the mob.
