Bungee jumping victim’s social media taken down after sic...

Perverted trolls have bombarded old posts by the student flung to her death in an unthinkable bungee-jump disaster in Brazil with sick comments — with some so vile they are being investigated as inciting necrophilia.

Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas’ old posts were filled with cruel sexual jokes, old pictures and invasive comments objectifying the victim’s body after she was thrown 130 feet from a bridge by instructors who somehow failed to attach the rope.

“If the victim were ugly, it would be less sad,” said one of the vile trolls, while others said they wanted to “party” at the morgue or get jobs at the medical examiner’s office.

The late 21-year-old student’s grieving family has since been forced to shut down all her social media — while outraged politicians have reported some of the trolls to police to investigate them for inciting rape, necrophilia and the desecration of a corpse.

“It’s appalling that comments like ‘there’s a party at the morgue today,’  are made openly and social media does nothing. This is misogyny, this is incitement, and this is a crime,” Congresswoman Hilton told Brazilian outlet Ultimo Segundo.

“We cannot allow the lack of moderation and responsibility of big tech companies, which profit billions of dollars, to continue normalizing so many horrors,” she added.

The 21-year-old student died after being thrown from a bridge for a bungee jump without a rope.

Some of the abuse is so twisted it could result in prison sentences of up to 3 years.

“The online demonstrations that vilify Maria Eduarda’s memory transcend mere immorality and constitute serious offenses that will receive a severe legal response,” criminal attorney Adib Abdouni told Ultimo Segundo.

“The purported anonymity of social media is a legal illusion. It is the responsibility of the Cybercrime Division to initiate a police investigation and request the breaking of telematics secrecy, based on the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework. From there, the owners of the IP addresses behind fake profiles can be identified,” he added.

De Freitas’ social media profiles were deactivated by her family in an attempt to protect her memory, Ultimo Segundo reported.

Three men arrested for homicide in Brazil.

Three instructors have been charged in relation to her homicide.

De Freitas’ awful death on Saturday in Limeira, São Paulo State, was captured in a viral video showing three instructors picking her up over their heads, then throwing her — but with no rope attached.

Her mother railed against “that damned rope,” which could be seen in the video lying unattached by the side of the bridge.

De Freitas was not killed instantly, according to a nurse, Rayza Gabrieli Dias Delfino, 26, who went to try and save her life after witnessing the plunge.

The São Paulo Civil Police are investigating her death.

On Sunday, three of the bungee jump instructors were arrested in relation to de Freitas’s homicide, after two of them made a break for it through the woods.

The “rope jumping” operation they had set up, off an abandoned railway viaduct called Skeleton Bridge, was unlicensed and illegal, according to authorities.

Previous videos showed a series of reckless stunts being carried out on the 130-foot bridge, including visitors jumping off with young children on their backs.

Video showed the three men being led away in handcuffs on Monday.

Three others who worked at the illegal jump site were arrested but subsequently released without charge.
