After 10 years of watching Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard frolic their way through themed parties in the Hamptons, Bravo fans are finally getting a look into their lives in New York City. The new Summer House spinoff, In The City, highlights the next chapters of their lives as they navigate marriage and parenthood, but it also introduces us to their friend group outside of Summer House, including Cooke’s longtime pal Kenny Martin.

According to Cooke, he met Martin in a “stereotypical New York way” — through mutual friends. The two have remained close over the years, with Martin even deciding to invest in Loverboy. While Martin has managed to stay away from the cameras throughout Cooke’s entire run on Summer House, it seems he’s finally ready to embrace his new role as a reality star. After all, it’s not often that a newbie dares to go up against Hubbard in the first episode, calling her out for her “I hate men” vibes.

Who is Kenny Martin?

Kenny Martin is a “self-made real estate investor and venture capitalist,” per his Bravo bio. The Michigan-native spent 15 years working in an investment bank on Wall Street before leaving to start a career in venture capital investing. He also started his own private equity real estate development company, where he purchases apartment buildings, renovates them, and either resells them or keeps them in “cash flow.” All that to say, the man is rich.

So, how does he fit into this group? As mentioned before, Martin has been friends with Kyle Cooke for the last 10 years. He also happens to be an investor in Loverboy, Cooke’s struggling alcohol business.

Who is Kenny Martin dating?

Having left his F-boy ways in the past, Martin is currently dating Whitney Fransway, who got her reality TV start on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. Per Martin, he and Fransway had been officially dating for six months (unofficially for about a year) at the time they started filming In the City last fall. While Fransway had just left her home in Los Angeles to move in with Martin in the Big Apple, he still seemed to have reservations about their relationship, telling Cooke that he was still “trying to figure” out if she was the one.
