Ciara Miller is heading to Fiji. As the newest hot bombshell to enter the Love Island USA universe, Miller is slated to co-host Season 8’s Aftersun series alongside content creator Tefi Pessoa.
Per Deadline, the duo will be taking the job over from Maura Higgins (Season 6 host) and Sophie Monk (Season 7 host), while Miller’s fellow Bravo alum Ariana Madix will return for her third season as the Love Island USA host.
The exciting news comes amid a tumultuous time for Miller, whose former best friend Amanda Batula is currently dating her ex-situationship West Wilson. However, the Summer House star is following in the path of scorned Bravo women that came before her, namely Madix, whose career only skyrocketed after her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, cheated on her with their mutual close friend, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. It was already announced that Miller, like Madix post-Scandoval, will be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars, and now she’ll get to join her ol’ Bravo pal in Fiji for the summer.
So, what does that mean for Miller’s future on Summer House? Since both shows film around the same time, it might be time for her to say goodbye to the Hamptons for good. Keep reading for everything we know.
As of this writing, Miller has not officially confirmed whether or not she will appear in Summer House Season 11. But since she will be the new co-host of Love Island USA’s Aftersun show, which films for six weeks over the summer in Fiji, it’s likely that Miller won’t be returning to the Hamptons this year.
Typically, Summer House begins filming around the Fourth of July, and lasts through Labor Day, while Love Island USA begins filming on June 2, and ends somewhere around July 14. So, is it possible that Miller could still juggle both? Absolutely. She would just have to join Summer House Season 11 a bit later than the rest of her castmates. However, we also know that Miller will be gearing up to compete in Dancing with the Stars the following fall, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she took the rest of the summer off from theme parties and West Wilson drama to focus on her future career endeavors.
DECIDER has reached out to reps for Miller and Bravo for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
Love Island USA Aftersun is a weekly talk show that’s typically hosted on each Saturday. In the show, the hosts do a deep-dive into unaired moments from that week of Love Island USA, conduct interviews with recently-dumped Islanders, and offer their takes on everything that’s happening in the villa.
Love Island USA Season 8 premieres on Tuesday, June 2 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Peacock.
