The Toronto Blue Jays will look to complete a sweep against the Pittsburgh Pirates to close out the holiday weekend series.

The series opener on May 22 set the tone, with Kevin Gausman pitching deep into the seventh inning to anchor a 6-2 Blue Jays victory. Two-run doubles from George Springer and Yohendrick Piñango blew the game open late, securing Toronto’s third consecutive win after winning two against the Yankees earlier this week.

The momentum carried right into May 23, where the Blue Jays leaned on Patrick Corbin on the mound; he struck out seven over six strong innings to outlast Pirates ace Paul Skenes. Backed by solo home runs from George Springer and Tyler Heineman, Toronto clinched a 5-2 victory and the series win.
