Elon Musk seems to be feuding with The Boys series creator Eric Kripke after the Prime Video series spoofed and killed off a billionaire tech mogul inspired by him in the series finale.
Musk openly criticized the series in a slew of posts on X, but he barely addressed the show’s obvious attempt at parodying him. Instead, he said the finale’s approach to killing Antony Starr‘s Homelander off was “pathetic” in a post on X, which Kripke absolutely reveled in.
“I’ll never get a better review ever,” Kripke wrote in a hilarious post on x.
The series finale features a heavy-handed parody of Musk in the “world’s richest man” Günter Van Ellis (played by Ivan Sherry). Described as an “amateur astronaut” with 17 children who “represents a consortium of billionaire,” Günter lights up when Homelander walks into the room, as he wanted to talk to him about “white fertility rates.” Homelander is clearly disgusted by the man, but Oh Father (Daveed Diggs) advises he take a meeting with Günter, thinking Homelander will need support from him and “the ruling class of America” when he takes over the country once and for all.
The interaction is short-lived, however, when Homelander flies off with Günter and abandons him in space, effectively killing him off.
Kripke continued gloating on X when Musk later doubled down on his complaints of how Homelander was killed off the show. In the series finale, Homelander loses his powers and gets beaten to a pulp by Butcher (Karl Urban), who ultimately pries his head off with a crowbar.

In his final moments, Homelander is reduced to a human, blubbering mess as he begs Butcher to spare his life, offering him a blowjob and even promising to “eat shit on live TV” if that’s what it takes to live.
While once again ignoring the show’s parody of him, Musk instead tried to make it personal by taking shots at Kripke’s marriage as he criticized the finale. “Kripke probably got flack from his wife’s bf for Homelander being used in based memes and had to write that ending as a groveling apology,” he wrote on X.
In another post, Musk wrote, “I’m not upset, just remarking that the ending sounds fake and gay.”
Kripke shared screenshots of the posts on X as he reveled in Musk’s obvious breakdown.
“HAHAHAHAH. He’s posting. MULTIPLE TIMES. Also I have notes on his joke writing,” he wrote. Kripke then seemingly realized that his X account had randomly been verified. “And thanks for the free blue check mark I guess?”
Kripke stood by Homelander’s controversial death scene during his recent chat with DECIDER.
“It was so satisfying and cathartic after so much time,” he said, adding that there’s “a historical precedent that when seemingly terrifying and powerful autocrats lose their power, they are blubbering pussies.”
Kripke continued, “The truth is they’re soft, wet little boys. And they really are the nothing that we’ve been calling Homelander all season. Like you take away those powers. What are you? You’re nothing.”
The Boys is streaming now on Prime Video.
