Welcome to NFL Free Agency, Part II.
Now that the draft is over, teams are reassessing their unaddressed roster holes.
As of Monday, teams no longer are jeopardizing the possibility of receiving a 2027 compensatory draft pick for their offseason losses by signing a free agent, so here are the 10 best unsigned players and their likeliest destinations:
Fits: Rams, Raiders, Ravens
Diggs, 32, is looking for his fourth team in four years because his attitude wears out its welcome, so he is a better fit around an established quarterback than an easily influenced rookie. He also is due in court next week on an assault charge.
Why does he keep getting chances? Seven consecutive 1,000-yard seasons when he plays at least nine games.
The Rams might not have added a single 2026 contributor during the draft.
Fits: Dolphins, Raiders, Commanders, Vikings
Word is that Jennings, 28, overpriced himself in a market where five receivers secured at least $14 million per year, including his 49ers replacement Mike Evans. A physical run blocker, Jennings totaled 55 catches for 643 yards and nine touchdowns in 15 games.
Jennings already is visiting the Vikings, the Raiders didn’t draft a pass catcher for No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza until the sixth round, and the Commanders need a No. 2 receiver.
Fits: Bears, Chiefs, Cardinals
Decker, 32, asked for his release during a contract dispute after 10 seasons in Detroit. He has played at least 14 games in each of the past four seasons.
Is he willing to be a swing tackle? Or compete to start? Or move to the right side? Or does he take a résumé-speaks-for-itself approach?
The best fit might be a reunion with Bears head coach Ben Johnson, his former offensive coordinator dealing with an injury to left tackle Ozzy Trapilo.
Fits: Saints, Bears, Chiefs, Rams
The Saints just traded for Tyree Wilson, but that shouldn’t end the possibility of re-signing their icon. Jordan, 36, has 132 career sacks, including a renaissance 10.5 last season.
The Bears ranked No. 31 in pass rush win rate last season and didn’t use a draft pick on an edge. Maybe defensive coordinator Dennis Allen (former Saints head coach) lures Jordan.
Jordan has a future in broadcasting after the NFL, so could he desire a head start in the Los Angeles market?
Fits: Colts, Seahawks, Jaguars, Titans

Bosa, 30, had five sacks and an NFL-best five forced fumbles last season for the Bills.
Is he seeking a contender who might view him as an over-the-top piece? Or the familiarity of Titans defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, who coached him for four seasons with the Chargers?
Fits: Rams, Chiefs, Colts, Raiders
After it looked like his body was breaking down with the 49ers, Samuel made 72 catches for 727 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games for the Commanders.
Samuel, 31, wasn’t used nearly as frequently as a rusher (17 carries) but remains one of the NFL’s most versatile weapons, so just think what a play-caller like Sean McVay or Andy Reid could scheme up.
The Chiefs (fifth round) and Colts (seventh) waited until Day 3 to pick a receiver.
Fits: Giants, Ravens, Bears, Patriots, Bills
Does he want to retire? Or does he want to play past his 40th birthday?
Campbell — an all-time high-character presence — still has something left in the tank. He has started all 51 games over the past three seasons (for three different teams) and managed 18 sacks.
The Cardinals are in “wait-and-see mode” about Campbell returning, but it makes more sense for him to come full circle. He was in the Super Bowl (and lost) as a rookie in 2009.
The Giants have a significant need at defensive tackle but seem zeroed in on D.J. Reader, who just missed the cut for this list.
Fits: Bengals, Cowboys, Commanders, Bills
The door isn’t totally closed on a return to the Commanders, who drafted Sonny Styles in the first round.
A Wagner-Cowboys pairing has long been rumored.
But Wagner, 35, could have the biggest on-field impact — not just as a leader — roaming behind newly acquired double-team-eating Dexter Lawrence with the Bengals.
Wagner notched 162 tackles last season, after making his 10th career Pro Bowl in 2024.
Fits: Panthers, Broncos, Chargers, Buccaneers
Just two years removed from career highs of 81 catches for 882 yards, Njoku’s numbers fell to 33 for 293 in 12 games last season.
A historic draft run on tight ends — eight in the second and third rounds alone — means a lot of jobs dried up.
The Panthers have the most pressing need for a 29-year-old starter.
Fits: Titans, Ravens, Dolphins
Joel Bitonio is a better guard, but if he doesn’t retire it seems that he is headed back to the Browns.
Zeitler, 36, primarily plays right guard but has expressed a willingness to play center, and one of the biggest holes for a contender across the league is the Ravens’ center position (after All-Pro Tyler Linderbaum’s departure). Zeitler was in Baltimore from 2021-23.
Bonus: QB Aaron Rodgers
Fits: Steelers
Rodgers, 42, would’ve been No. 1 before Tuesday, when the Steelers placed an unrestricted free agent tender on him — essentially narrowing his choices to return to start for the Steelers or retire.
