Hope you found a good hiding spot, because the countdown to Ready or Not 2: Here I Am Come‘s digital release date is almost to zero. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to buy and rent the horror comedy sequel on digital platforms.

This sequel to 2019’s critically acclaimed Ready or Not picks up mere moments after the iconic ending of the first film, which found star Samara Weaving lighting a cigarette in a bloodied wedding dress. Good news: The dress is back. Grace MacCaullay (Weaving) barely has time to revel in her victory over her murderous in-laws, before she’s caught up in the next phase of the game. Apparently, now all the wealthiest families in the world get to play a new game with Grace. And she better play along, if she wants to save her estranged younger sister, Faith (played by Kathryn Newton).

The creative team for the first film is back for the sequel, including directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. The new ensemble Ready or Not 2 cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood. But before you spend $25 to watch this movie at home, you should know that we expect to see Ready or Not 2 streaming on Hulu soon.

Ready or Not 2 will be released on digital tomorrow, on Tuesday, May 5 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also 9 p.m. Pacific Time on May 4). You can pre-order Ready or Not 2 on platforms like Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The movie costs $24.99 to buy on Amazon, or you can purchase a bundle of both movies for $29.98 on Amazon.

Ready or Not 2 will also release on Blu-ray and DVD on June 16. The digital and physical release comes with bonus features, including a four-part behind-the-scenes featurette, a bloopers reel, and an audio commentary with directors/executive producers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Samara Weaving, and Kathryn Newton.

Before you buy Ready or Not 2 online, you should know that Ready or Not 2 is likely coming to Hulu soon.

When will the Ready or Not 2 movie be on streaming on Hulu?

The Ready or Not 2 streaming release date on Hulu has not yet been announced, but it might be streaming on Hulu around the end of this month. Ready or Not 2 is a Searchlight Pictures film, and most of the Searchlight films—a studio owned by Disney—go to the Disney-owned streamer, Hulu.

Another Searchlight film, The Testament of Ann Lee came to Hulu about three months after it opened in theaters. If Ready or Not 2 follows a similar pattern, you might see it on Hulu around late June 2026, aka about three months after the film opened wide in the U.S.

That said, not all of the Searchlight releases on Hulu have followed the same timeline. This is all speculation. Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, you can buy the film on digital.
