Something old, something new — something orange, something blue.

A pair of lovebirds tied the knot at City Hall Thursday as the chaos and madness of the Knicks’ historic ticker tape parade swirled around them.

Jillian and Andrew Solomon embraced the Knicks-sanity of their special day, which they initially had hoped to keep as a “very lowkey celebration.”

“Walking to the courthouse through thousands of Knicks fans is something we’ll never forget. People were cheering, taking pictures of us, even helping us through the crowd at times,” the bride, 27, told The Post Friday.

“We love this city and the best people in the world are here.”

The Knicks party and record 2 million swarm of fans nearly derailed the Solomons’ dream of a simple, small and traditional ceremony at City Hall.

The Upper West Siders had booked their appointment back in February — months before the Knicks kicked off their historic championship run.

“We chose City Hall because we wanted a very lowkey celebration. We met in the city, have lived in the city together for four years and it’s a huge part of our story together,” Jillian Solomon said.

Canceling the appointment was not an option for the couple, who had family flying in for the special day and who would need to wait weeks for another appointment to open up.

The packed city streets also prevented the pair from taking a car service to the ceremony — instead forcing them to ride the subway in their white gown and tuxedo to make it in time.

It was also the second time the Knicks had taken over a wedding event from the pair — the team secured their NBA championship title the day Jillian Solomon was celebrating her bachelorette party in Manhattan.

But once at City Hall, Jillian and Andrew, 33, were given star-studded treatment that would make Jalen Brunson or OG Anunoby jealous.

NYPD officers let them cut into the parade route hours after they began turning fans away, and into restricted areas.

Knicks fans even moved out of the spots they showed up for at 4 a.m. to give the couple the best snapshots for their wedding album.

The blue and orange confetti rained down on the couple after their nuptials, with some of the colored tape even sneaking its way into Jillian Solomon’s dress.

“Everybody around us saw the tuxedo and the bridal gown and they just gave them priority, which is such an amazing New York thing to see with all the energy that’s already been going on,” said Gianna Carly, the couple’s photographer.

“Everybody was saying congratulations to them every five seconds. I made a joke to them. to take a shot every single time someone says congrats and they were like, ‘We’d be dead by now!'”

The Solomons were one of several couples to marry at City Hall during the madness — with some of the ceremonies taking place while Mayor Mamdani gave the team keys to the city just outside.

Jillian Solomon added that while she wasn’t a Knicks fan before, she certainly is now.

“They just decided to embrace it because of what this city and what this universe has been bringing to them. This energy has just been so unreal that they just said, ‘Why the hell not?'” said Carly.

“It was just something that was so spectacular and unique. And they can tell their grandchildren about it one day. And they are just happy.”
