Tom Jones just announced he’s striking out on an international outing he’s calling ‘Come Gather Round Tour’ this fall.
The 25-concert North American leg of the run will send the soon-to-be 86-year-old to theaters, halls, performing arts centers, parks, resorts and auditoriums from September through November.
That includes not one, not two, not three but four (!) shows in the Tri-state. They’re scheduled to take place at:

“I am thrilled and cannot wait to see you down the road!” 1966’s Grammy winner for Best New Artist — he beat out Sonny & Cher, The Byrds and Herman’s Hermits in case you were wondering — shared when announcing the European leg of the outing on Instagram.
On Jones’ 2025 ‘Deft Expectations Tour,’ the tireless crooner typically performed 21 songs per show, according to Set List FM.
Notable tracks to make the cut include fan favorite hits “It’s Not Unusual,” “Sexbomb,” “Delilah” and “What’s New Pussycat” along with Prince, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Randy Newman covers.
“Even as he nears 85, Tom Jones continues to blend charm, power, and reflection in a way that few performers can match,” Music Life Magazine wrote in a review of Jones’ 2025 concert in Niagara Falls.

Featuring Jones’ signature deep voice, he shies away from his typically upbeat fare and opts for more melancholy, reflective material like the heavy opening tune “I Won’t Crumble With You If You Fall.”
Still, he has fun on catchy tracks like “Popstar” and “Samson and Delilah.”
For our money, “Surrounded By Time” just might be the best classic rock record of the ’20s.
