West Wilson gives rare insight into 'dark' 'Summer House'...
Riley Cardoz · 2026-05-06 · via New York Post

West Wilson opened up for the first time about the “dark” “Summer House” reunion.

The reality star acknowledged on Tuesday’s “Show Me Something” podcast episode that those sitdowns are never “fun,” dubbing them the “darkest form of therapy.”

He noted, “You don’t often get that much feedback on how your actions impact other people. There’s a shock to your system from it. But the only thing I can do from this is learn and try to be better.”

Admitting he sounded “cliche,” Wilson added, “The only way you can make experience like this worth it, as dark as it gets, is to get better from it. … It’s growth. It’ll take a sec, but we’ll get there.”

The 31-year-old described the “long day” filming the reunion — which centered around his and co-star Amanda Batula’s bombshell romance — on April 23.

“This one was a little less fun than normal,” the Bravolebrity noted. “What matters to me the most is these are my friends and I’ve caused a lot of damage, which f–king sucks.”

His relationship with Batula, notably, rocked the cast as Batula, 34, was Wilson’s ex-girlfriend Ciara Miller’s BFF.

Wilson expressed relief to be “on the other side” of the reunion with Miller, 30, Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, and the rest of their co-stars.

“It’s going to take time for sure and time helps,” he said. “Doing the reunion was one step, and we got through it. … We’ve just got to take it one day at a time.”

Wilson also denied “preposterous” rumors that he was the person behind the reunion’s viral audio leak.

A clip circulated on social media the day after filming, with Miller heard blasting Batula as “f–king snake.”

Additionally, Mia Calabrese said, “You went from married [to Cooke] — and I’m not saying your relationship was perfect — to being one of West’s side bitches.”

When Batula insisted “you can’t help who you like and are attracted to,” Miller, who dated Wilson in 2023 and reportedly hooked up with him earlier this year, vehemently disagreed.

Andy Cohen, who hosted the reunion, called the leak “disgusting” — and celebrated later that same week when the person was identified, thanks to the help of a Bravo fan.

On Tuesday, Wilson said, “I’m going to ask [who it was] eventually, but it could be — I’m pretty sure — people [who] are, like, freelanced in to help with audio and stuff.
