A woman says she has the ‘luckiest garden’ in the world – home to dozens of four, five, six, and even seven-leaf clovers.

Elle Ashton, 34, recently discovered a patch of the lucky flowers growing in her garden.

Four-leaf clovers are considered lucky because of their rarity and historical folklore.

So when Elle realised her patch of clovers contained not only four-leaf clovers but flowers with up to seven leaves, she was “overwhelmed.”

She reckons she has found at least 20 four and five-leaf clovers, one six-leaf clover, and one seven-leaf clover.

Elle, who works in a school, from Tamworth, Staffordshire, said: “I was just amazed when I saw them all.

“I’m overwhelmed.

“I don’t know if it’s something bigger than just the clovers.

“That moment stopped me in my tracks.

“It felt like life – or whoever we believe in- was showing me that letting go doesn’t always mean losing something forever.

“Sometimes it means making space for new things to grow.

“Since then, the clovers have continued to become a strange but comforting thread throughout my life,” Ashton said.

Elle told Sell Us Your Story that she first found a four-leaf clover in 2012 at a time when she had been going through a “hard time.”

She said, “The night before I found it, I looked up to the sky and prayed, as I’d been going through a hard time.

“I woke up the next day, and the first thought I had was that I was going to find a four-leaf clover that day.

“I thought nothing of it, but I ended up seeing one.

“That meant something to me, and I kept the clover.”

Elle kept the clover for a number of years before giving it away to a doctor who had helped her.

She said: “I ended up in mental health services as I’d been going through a bad time.

“When I was discharged, I wrote a thank-you card and put the clover in.

She added, “At the time I first found the four-leaf clover, I was also trying to rebuild my life after some traumas in my past. Elle Ashton / SWNS

“The very next day, I walked into my front garden, and I saw a patch of clovers.

“I saw a four-leaf, then a five-leaf clover, and another and another.

“Now it’s producing six and seven-leaf clovers!”

Elle believes the clovers offered her “hope” in a time when she was struggling.

She added, “At the time I first found the four-leaf clover, I was also trying to rebuild my life after some traumas in my past.

“But for me, the story was never really about luck – it became a personal reminder that even during difficult periods of life, hope can still appear in the smallest and most unexpected ways,” Ashton said. Elle Ashton / SWNS

“That’s part of why the moment stayed with me so deeply.

“Years later, finding the seven-leaf clover felt personal for a completely different reason.

“It felt more like a symbol of transition, healing, and moving forward into a new chapter of my life.

“I know some people will see the clovers as simple genetic mutations or a coincidence, and scientifically, that may well be true.
