This Rockaways penthouse is asking $3.75 million, an area record for a condominium — and it’s part of the peninsula’s first million-dollar-plus condo tower, Gimme Shelter can reveal.

It’s one of five penthouses at Lighthouse Beach Sixty-Seventh, a 12-story tower with 82 units at 141 Beach 67th St. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects, the modern tower is slated for a 2028 completion. The Lighthouse condos, which range from one- to three-bedrooms, start at $645,000.

“Lighthouse Beach Sixty-Seventh are the first million-dollar-plus condos in the Rockaways,” said developer Steven Dubb, president and principal of the Beechwood Organization. 

Indeed, the most expensive condo to sell in the Rockaways to date sold for $1.32 million in 2021 at 133 Beach 116th St., according to data provided to Gimme Shelter by the brokerage firm Brown Harris Stevens.

That 1,622-square-foot unit came with three bedrooms and two baths.

This three-bedroom, three-bath aerie is 1,725 square feet. It boasts lots of glass, three balconies totaling 370 square feet, ocean views — and beachy touches, like engineered wood floors that can hold up to sand being dragged in from the beach.

That said, the building even offers storage for its tenants’ surfboards — as well as their bikes.

Inside, the penthouse features ceilings around 11 feet high. An open chef’s kitchen comes with a breakfast bar and walls of glass that open to the terrace. There’s also an entryway, a formal dining area and a living room, all with stunning ocean views from every bedroom and living space.

Interior design is by Abby Forbes of Forbes Design Group, and utilizes neutral sand and sea tones to bring the beach inside, and to help maximize the indoor-outdoor vibe.

The condo tower is attracting diverse buyers — from creatives to suburban empty nesters — who all share a common desire: to live “an authentic beachfront lifestyle without giving up access to New York City,” said Dubb.

Dubb added that the Rockaways continue to emerge “as one of New York City’s most exciting growth corridors.”

Building amenities include on-site surfboard and bike storage plus private locker space.

There’s also an elevated beachfront pool and sundeck, a gym, a lounge and a game room. When work calls, there are also co-working spaces and conference rooms — plus outdoor bar and barbecue areas, a doorman, a concierge service and on-site parking.
