Lefty owner of anti-Israel NYC coffee shop calls Israel ‘...
Chris Nesi · 2026-06-23 · via New York Post

The radical leftist owner of a woke Brooklyn coffee shop that boasts about discriminating against pro-Israel Jewish customers on social media has a history of deranged anti-Israel LinkedIn posts — including accusing the Jewish state of genocide and compares it to Nazi Germany.

Parviz Mukhamadkulov, founder of Poetica Coffee in Park Slope, regularly engages in comment threads under posts about Israel or the horrors committed by Hamas, in which he justifies the terror group’s atrocities on Oct. 7, 2023.

“Israel is the Nazi Germany of current time,” he wrote in response to a video posted by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

He also has a knack for twisting posts about the Holocaust into anti-Israel narratives.

In response to a heartbreaking photo of an emaciated young girl wearing an Auschwitz prisoner uniform taken moments before she was executed, Mukhamadkulov replied, “This is a horrible story. That is why its important we talk against the genocide israel is committing against Palestinians.”

In another disturbing tirade, he sensationally claimed Israel’s war on Hamas was “never about hostages or about security.”

The terrorists abducted 251 people and slaughtered more than 1,200 innocent men, women and children during its cowardly surprise attack on the Jewish state.

“Thinking israel does anything remotely humaine [sic] at this point is naive. It was never about hostages or about security. The idf and the israeli givernment [sic] depends on conflict to stay in power,” he wrote on another post by Guterres.

He also seemingly has a fixation on the accusation that Israel has deliberately targeted babies in its war against Hamas.

“Explain to me why Israel is killing babies?” Mukhamadkulov replied to a video shared by TheJewishVoice founder David BenHooren in which Hamas leader Khaled Mashal said “After October 7th, the Palestinian state will extend from the river to the sea.”

A LinkedIn post by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, with a video showing him speaking, and a comment below it by Parviz Mukhamadkulov stating "Israel is the Nazi Germany of current time."

In one response to a post, Mukhamadkulov wrote, “Israel is the Nazi Germany of current time.”

The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has opened an investigation into Poetica Coffee. Gregory P. Mango for NY Post

The Anti-Defamation League calls “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” an “antisemitic slogan” and rallying cry used by Hamas supporters which seek the destruction of Israel through violent means.

Poetica Coffee stirred up controversy last week when it publicly banned pro-Israel NY congressman Dan Goldman after he stopped by the shop for a cup of coffee.

“Hey Congressman Dan Goldman, we see that you stopped by our shop today for a coffee. Do you see how it doesn’t taste like genocide juice? Or are you still having a hard time telling the difference?” the coffee shop wrote on its Facebook page.

Since publicly attacking Rep. Goldman and denying him service on the basis of his support for Israel, DOJ Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon says the Justice Department has opened an investigation into the incident and will “bring an enforcement action” if warranted.
