The Issue: New York City’s justice system’s failure to keep repeat offender Rhamell Burke off the streets.

The miscreant Rhamell Burke should never have been on the street to allegedly murder 76-year-old Ross Falzone. People like Burke should have been involuntarily committed ages ago (“NYC failed shove vic,” Frank Conti, May 13).

Moreover, our criminal-justice system is also to blame. Apparently Burke had been charged many times. Anyone who is rearrested while out on a pending charge should have a significant bail set.

Mayor Mamdani needs to do more for our homeless and mentally ill. Rhamell Burke should not have been released.

I am also 76 and walk with a cane. I worry about being assaulted and even killed like Ross Falzone, who did nothing wrong to anyone.

I get very angry when I see The Post give prominence to killers and hate-mongers. You printed a large front-page color photo of a benignly smiling Rhamell Burke, who shoved a retired schoolteacher down a flight of stairs, killing him.

People like him are scum who should be hidden away in some dark corner. Instead you help elevate them. You’re part of the problem, not the solution.

The tragic, yet totally preventable, murder of Ross Falzone by a grinning lunatic is positive proof that the “woke” disease that has infected New York’s political and criminal-justice systems kills innocent people.

How could an emotionally disturbed person like Rhamell Burke be evaluated and released by medical professionals in an hour? Shame on them and the woke hospital system that enables it to happen.

I read the New York Post every day, and it seems there is not a single day when I don’t read about a violent crime committed by some disturbed individual.

Democrats do not solve problems — they create them, and it is costing New Yorkers taxpayer dollars in a big way. These crimes are the result of the gross negligence by New York politicians.

The Issue: The Administration for Children’s Services withholding records of reported child abuse.

The vile behavior of and tolerated stonewalling by the Administration for Children’s Services must be stopped (“Deadly Child Abuse: Why Not Investigate?” Naomi Schaefer Riley, Post­Opinion, May 11).

The story of 4-year-old Jahmeik Moldin’s murder by starvation has never left me, and it is appalling that it hasn’t broken the heart of anyone with the power to stop the insanity of ACS’ racist administrators.

There must be someone left in this government who has an iota of decency left in their hearts and has the power to remove the lunatics running the ACS nuthouse.

Keep up the pressure, New York Post. No one else seems to give a damn about these children.

ACS staff are between a rock and a hard place when it comes to protecting non-Caucasian children. Removal from homes smacks of “systemic racism” in today’s politically correct environment. Then, when a tragedy happens and a child is abused, not fed properly and tragically dies, the family is not to blame; it’s ACS.

Why anyone in their right mind would become an ACS worker or superviser is beyond me — and this is from someone who was one for over 32 years.
