Former AG Pam Bondi was diagnosed with cancer shortly aft...

Pam Bondi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after President Trump removed her as attorney general, according to a report Tuesday.

Bondi, 60, underwent treatment for the disease and is recovering, according to Axios.

The revelation comes amid a report that Trump has tapped Bondi to serve on an AI-focused advisory committee.

Bondi, who was fired from her perch at the Justice Department on the same day she accompanied the president to the Supreme Court to watch oral arguments in a major birthright citizenship case, will be on the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), according to Axios.

The ex-AG received praise on social media for how she’s handled the dreaded diagnosis.

“Pam has been quietly kicking cancer’s ass the last few weeks,” podcast host and former White House official Katie Miller wrote on X.

“[Bondi] has a heart of gold,” Miller added.

Most thyroid cancers are permanently curable with treatment, according to the Cleveland Clinic

With a five-year survival rate of over 98%, the prognosis for patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer is considered “excellent.”

Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner secretly battled thyroid cancer while serving a high-profile role in the White House during the president’s first term, he revealed in his memoir.

Kushner had surgery to remove a tumor from his throat while handling Middle East affairs for Trump. And in 2022, after his White House tenure, Kushner underwent a second thyroid surgery.

After her firing, Bondi vowed to “continue fighting for President Trump.”

“Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history,” she posted on X last month.

“I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again.”

Trump has tapped Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to serve as interim AG while he decides on a permanent replacement.

The White House did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
