Iran’s president claimed Thursday that he recently met with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who is believed to be disfigured and still has yet to appear in public.

President Masoud Pezeshkian said he spoke with Khamenei, 56, for more than two hours, touting the missing ayatollah as the country’s proper leader as reports continue to circulate over the true extent of his injuries and ineptitude.

“What struck me most during this meeting was the vision and the humble and sincere approach of the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution,” Pezeshkian gushed, according to Iranian state media.

Pezeshkian did not say what he spoke with Khamenei about, or where the meeting took place.

Khamenei — who US intel believes is “probably gay,” despite leading a nation where homosexuality is outlawed — has yet to be seen since he was appointed as his father’s successor in March.

Reports say that he suffered severe facial and leg injuries in the airstrikes that took out the former supreme leader.

It remains unclear exactly how badly Khamenei is injured and how his recovery is going, with the missing supreme leader issuing all his statements via written notes read aloud through state-run media.

President Trump has gone as far as to suggest Khamenei was actually dead, with the rumors gaining traction after the Islamic republic used an AI generated pic of the supreme leader for his new social media account.

Tehran, however, claims Khamenei is recovering well from his wounds and is of sound mind, sources with knowledge of his condition told Reuters.

Khamenei is allegedly taking part in meetings with senior officials via audio conferencing, with all major decision-making going through him, the sources added.

Experts on Tehran’s inner workings have previously said Khamenei, whose own father never wanted him to serve as his heir, is merely a puppet for the senior leaders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
