Hotelier and developer Alan Faena has sold his historic Miami waterfront estate for $24 million in an off-market deal.

The buyer is affordable housing developer Andrew Schwartzberg.

Exclusive photos of its grand interiors obtained by Gimme Shelter reveal the original, bold style that the Argentine-born, hat-wearing creative has become known for.

And it was all created within the restored confines of a century-old villa.

Faena bought the historic Miami home at 4731 Pine Tree Drive for $10.3 million in 2014, according to property records. The sale was first reported in the Real Deal.

Known as Villa Crono Estate, the Mediterranean Revival mansion, which was Faena’s personal residence, was built in 1927 and sits on just under an acre.

Faena extensively renovated the residence and “brought it back to life,” a source who toured it said.

The villa is now filled with lots of Faena-style bold red color, animal prints and rich textures while still retaining original details — from its fireplaces and arched windows to the woodwork, as well as beamed and hand-painted ceilings, and terrazzo floors.

The residence is a compound that includes a grand courtyard, a five-bedroom main house and a four-bedroom guest house — together totaling 10,057 square feet — plus a resort-style pool and a dock.

The main house opens to a foyer, while a grand salon overlooking Indian Creek canal with a “glimpse” of the ocean adjoins a second living room, formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen.

There’s also a master suite plus four additional ensuite bedrooms.

The charming four-bedroom guest house comes with a gym and a steam room. Original details include high ceilings and fireplaces.

The main bedroom suite boasts water views. The compound comes with multiple terraces and outdoor entertaining areas for maximizing an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

All of the living spaces were designed by Faena, with lush, tropical landscaping outside.

The buyers’ brokers were Jennifer Raines Peltz, and Jordan Karp, of Jordan Karp LLC and Meredith Verona of Corcoran. Karp represented Faena in the deal.
