CNN commentator Scott Jennings exploded at Adam Mockler, a 23-year-old liberal podcaster, during a bitter fight over the Iran war – exclaiming, “Get your f–king hand out of my face!”

During CNN’s “NewsNight with Abby Phillip” Thursday, the pair got into a heated argument over the duration of the war, which broke out Feb. 28 after joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

Mockler – a podcaster for MeidasTouch, a progressive media company, who boasts over 2 million subscribers on YouTube – accused Jennings of being a war hawk, nodding to his time spent as a special assistant to the president during the George W. Bush administration.

“We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with the letters I-R-A, that we’re currently failing, that is gonna put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt,” Mockler said.

“I was only a few years old while you were in the administration defending prior endless wars. Now this war is failing,” he added.

Jennings rebutted: “Eight weeks is endless?”

Mockler argued that Jennings had initially insisted the war would only last four to six weeks.

Jennings jumped in: “Do you have the attention span of a gnat?”

“Wait a minute, I debated you on TV four to six weeks ago and you said we were weeks away from it,” Mockler responded. “Now you’re making condescending remarks because you can’t defend the fact that this war is not going your way.”

Tensions heated up as Mockler – sat next to Jennings and gesturing with his hands – pressed the conservative analyst to “give me one political concession” Iran has made since the war started.

Jennings pivoted in his chair to face Mockler and pointed at him, saying, “Get your f–king hand out of my face, first of all!”

Phillip, the show’s host, cut the two men off, saying, “Hey hey, woah woah woah!…Everybody hang tight…Everybody calm down, okay?”

Earlier in the show, Jennings had mocked the Gen Zer’s age, telling Mockler, “When you get up past your bedtime, you get hyper.”

After Phillip asked the panelists to keep their comments relative to the debate at hand, Mockler asked again, “Can you name a political concession that we’ve got in Iran?”

Jennings responded: “We have a very simple goal. To keep terrorists and a terrorist regime from having a nuclear weapon that could threaten the United States, our interests in the region, our allies in Europe, anybody else in the world.”

Mockler responded: “So you can’t answer the question.”
