We’re heading back to Oklahoma City for an epic win-or-go-home Game 7 matchup as the Thunder host the San Antonio Spurs in the final game of the Western Conference Finals!
Sometimes the Sports Gods smile down on us mortals. It truly doesn’t get any better than this for basketball fans: Victor Wembanyama vs. reigning two-time MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in a winner-takes-all Game 7 with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line.
While the New York Knicks are getting some much-needed rest after a four-game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Spurs and Thunder are exchanging haymakers. OKC won by 11 in Game 6, and San Antonio dominated the Thunder in Game 6 to force this hotly anticipated capper to the WCFs. Shai scored 32 points in Game 5, while Wemby led the Spurs with 28 points and 10 rebounds in Game 6.
