The second season of Dexter: Resurrection is shaping up to be must-stream TV.

The official logline for the second season states that Dexter is “caught between two killers – one notorious and the other terrorizing New York in ways no one ever anticipated – all while battling his greatest enemy yet: a mid-life crisis.”

An official Season 2 release date has yet to be announced by Paramount, but we do have an update on when you can expect new episodes.
Production on the second season has commenced in New York City, and during a recent interview with Love It Film, showrunner Clyde Phillips indicated that they’re aiming for an October 2026 premiere date.
As we mentioned above, Brian Cox, Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, and Nona Parker Johnson have all joined the cast for Season 2, and original series star Desmond Harrington (Quinn) has been promoted to a series regular. Quinn’s extended involvement in the new season is a very interesting development, considering his history with Dexter and Angel Batista’s (David Zayas) Season 1 arc.
