A Tennessee woman busted with meth in her pocket had the strangest excuse imaginable when cops questioned her about the drugs.

She claimed the pants she was wearing belonged to someone else.

Cops responded by calling Amanda Nicole Johnson, 46, a liar, liar pants on fire — and arrested her.

Johnson was found slumped over in a Ford F-150 pickup truck in front of a gas pump at TJ’s Food Mart in Sweetwater, asleep with a cigarette in her hand, according to the Advocate and Democrat of Madisonville.

After the officer woke her up and asked her to exit the vehicle, they noticed a small bulge in the coin pocket of her jeans, which turned out to be a small baggie containing what they believed to be methamphetamine.

Johnson claimed the pants weren’t hers — although she had been wearing them during her 12-hour shift at work.

Despite the in-question provenance of the trousers, she was arrested for possession and booked into the Monroe County jail.

She was released the next day after posting $5,000 bond, according to the outlet.
