Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman is taking heat once again in her own backyard.

Just days after a staged homeless encampment outside her Silver Lake home, a new wave of flyers attacking Raman’s homelessness record and mocking her controversial backyard barbecue proposal is hitting the socialist’s neighborhood.

The flyers, plastered on utility poles and street fixtures, carry blunt messages including, “No BBQ For You. Vote Raman for Mayor” and “Keep LA A Sh*thole.”

The campaign is being funded by Safe Cities USA, which says it is operating independently of any mayoral candidate and is backed by Los Angeles residents, business owners and former Angelenos frustrated with the city’s direction.

The group says the flyers target Raman’s handling of homelessness, public safety and quality-of-life issues.

“Our reasons are we don’t feel Bass or Raman should be spreading lies with facts and figures that can’t be verified,” the group said in a statement provided to The Post. “I have an obligation to fight back on behalf of our families and businesses. We can no longer sit back while they rob us blind.”

Safe Cities USA says the campaign reflects growing frustration among residents who believe Los Angeles has become overwhelmed by homelessness, addiction, crime and deteriorating quality of life.

“Residents and businesses have had enough,” the statement continued. “We finally have a mayoral candidate who is passionate, knowledgeable and willing to run the city using common sense.”

The flyers arrive just days after Raman found herself at the center of another homelessness controversy when activists staged a mock encampment outside her Silver Lake home on Memorial Day.

The stunt quickly went viral, then reignited debate Thursday after Raman discussed the incident during a podcast appearance.

“I’m glad my kids didn’t have to see that,” Raman told comedian Adam Conover. “I thought this campaign was going to be about bike lanes and transportation.”

Comments quickly went viral on social media.

“When it’s her own kids, Nithya Raman suddenly cares where homeless encampments are set up,” one comment read. “But when it’s your kids near schools and parks? She votes to keep the tents there.”

Raman has spent much of her political career advocating for policies critics say limited enforcement against homeless encampments and opposing tougher restrictions near neighborhoods, schools and parks.

Video from the demonstration showed people emerging from tents, grilling on an open-air barbecue and one individual carrying a bucket through the encampment as neighbors gathered to watch and record.

The “No BBQ For You” flyers also revive one of Raman’s most talked-about political missteps.

Earlier this month, the councilwoman introduced a motion asking city officials to study restrictions on backyard barbecues, fire pits and other open flames during Red Flag Warning days.

The proposal quickly sparked backlash, was stripped from the motion by fellow Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, and became viral political fodder.

Other flyers read, “Moms for Pratt, Save Our Kids.”

Organizers behind the flyer campaign insist their message goes beyond political theater.

“Our personal concern is safety for families and neighborhoods,” the statement said. “Our tenants and employees can’t maintain jobs, businesses can’t survive, and people can’t pay their rent if Los Angeles continues spiraling in the wrong direction.”
