Apple announced a quite shocking price hike on many of its products this morning, even hiking up the price of what used to be the most affordable MacBook on the market.
These price changes come on the heels of Apple’s supply chain issues, in particular regarding memory chips.
More bad news? Apple’s CEO Tim Cook says these prices won’t be changing back anytime soon, meaning you’re stuck with hiked-up Apple prices for the foreseeable future.
The silver lining: Apple products are heavily discounted for Prime Day, making this a great time to stock up on one if you were thinking about it. Because once Prime Day is over, you’ll be stuck paying as much as $500 more on certain MacBooks and iPads.
