If you haven’t yet been spoiled for The Drama, the new Robert Pattinson and Zendaya movie, you’re going to want to watch the movie ASAP. Because now that The Drama is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent starting tomorrow, we have a feeling spoilers are about to be all over the internet.

Written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli (Sick of Myself, Dream Scenario) The Drama stars Zendaya as a bookshop worker named Emma Harwood, who is engage to be married to Charlie Thompson (Robert Pattinson) a director at the British museum. But in the days before Emma and Charlie’s wedding, some uncomfortable, unsettling, and downright shocking truths come out about both of them, leading this couple to wonder how well they really know each other—and whether they really want to spend the rest of their lives together.

The Drama cast also includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, and Zoë Winters in supporting roles. The movie raises interesting questions about morality, judgement, and forgiveness, and it’s the kind of film that’s sure to spark a debate among your friends. Where to watch The Drama movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, May 5 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also 9 p.m. Pacific Time on Monday, May 4) you will be able to buy a digital copy of The Drama on platforms like Amazon Prime, Fandango At Home, Apple TV, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to buy the film, but on Amazon, the film cost $24.99 to pre-order a digital copy. The Moment will not yet be available to rent online. The Drama DVD release has not yet been announced.

The Drama is not currently available to stream on any subscription-based services, but the film will eventually be coming to streaming, on HBO Max, thanks to the 2023 deal between A24 and Warner Bros. Discovery, which brings A24’s previous and upcoming theatrical releases to the streaming service HBO Max.

The A24 deal is a “Pay-1 deal,” which means A24 movies will start streaming on HBO Max in the “Pay 1 window,” meaning that HBO Max will be the first “TV channel” to pay for the rights to The Moment, after the film has been released on digital and home media.One recent A24 title, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, began streaming on HBO Max a little over four months after its release in theaters, and about three months after its release on digital.

If The Drama follows a similar release strategy, you might see The Drama streaming on HBO Max in about three months, around early August 2026.
