An illegal migrant from Honduras let into the country by the Obama administration has been deported by ICE before she could be released back onto New York streets for trying to kill her newborn son, officials told The Post.

Soili Xiomara Aparicio-Santos, of Long Island, was convicted in 2018 of second-degree attempted murder, first- and second-degree attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child for attempting to smother the infant with a pillow.

She was sentenced to 16 years in prison, but had her sentence reduced to 10 years on appeal. Local authorities cooperated with ICE and notified the agency about her upcoming release after serving eight years in a New York prison for the crime.

“This monster attempted to KILL her own child the day he was born,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

“The Obama administration released this attempted murderer into our country. Thanks to cooperation by law enforcement and our ICE officers, this barbaric criminal is out of our country. We need cooperation from state and local politicians to get criminals like this out of our country. Together, we can make America safe again.”

The would-be killer entered the US illegally in 2014 and was turned loose. She received a final order of removal from an immigration judge on April 17 of that year.

In September, 2017, ICE lodged an immigration detainer against Aparicio-Santos after she was arrested by Suffolk County cops for first-degree reckless endangerment.

The agency lodged a second detainer in December 2018 while she was serving her sentence.

After her release from prison, ICE arrested her on April 7 and deported her on April 15.
