A Los Angeles-based band has suspended their tour after their truck and all their equipment inside was stolen in Oakland ahead of a show in the Bay Area.

Members of Moonchild — Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk — wrote the band lost all kinds of tour equipment and their truck ahead of a planned show that night at the UC Theatre in Berkeley, according to a message on Instagram Wednesday.

“It had all our stage design, wardrobe, lighting/audio gear, merch and instruments for the Waves tour,” the message on social media from the jazzy-soul trio read.

“So, we’re heartbroken to say that we have to reschedule the rest of our tour. Berkeley, Sacramento, San Diego, we are so sorry.”

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the band recover the losses.

“The scale and amount of loss is immense. We’re still processing it all,” the message on the fundraising post read.

“These funds will assist with needs that aren’t covered by other sources.”

As of Thursday, the band had raised more than $13,000.

The music hall confirmed the band’s cancellation in a post on social media about the Berkeley show.

“We are heartbroken to say that the truck containing all of Moonchild’s stage design, wardrobe, lighting/audio gear, merch, and instruments for the Waves Tour was stolen last night,” the message read.

“Due to these unprecedented circumstances, this show and the remaining dates of the tour have been rescheduled.”

Reaction on social media to the terrible news was a combination of anger and sadness.

“Your NorCal fans apologize for this senseless behavior. We were (and still are) looking forward to seeing you and we hope our love and support speaks volumes,” one person wrote.

Another added, “As a Bay Area resident, I’m beyond embarrassed. You all deserve so much better.”

While a third person shared, “Oh damn!! So, so very sorry this happened to you all. Please let us here in Oakland know how we can support you in any way. I’ve had s**t stolen out here before and got it back, so don’t give up hope. Sending blessings to y’all.”

“Wow. I can’t believe this s**t can just happen to genuinely the nicest people. Absolute shame on those involved,” a fourth shared in the band’s post.

The Oakland Police Department told The Post that a stolen vehicle report was filed and is under investigation. No other details were provided.

The dates that have been postponed include shows in both northern and southern California. The new dates are as follows, according to the band’s website.

-July 29: Berkeley at The UC Theatre 

-July 30: Sacramento at Harlow’s

-August 1: Los Angeles at The Wiltern

-August 2: San Diego at The Music Box

The LA-based Alternative R&B group burst onto the scene in 2011. Some of their albums include “Starfruit,” “Voyager,” and “Please Rewind.”
