A Beverly Hills rabbi raising the alarm about the sale of a $400 million Los Angeles mega-mansion — claiming any proceeds from the transaction would go to funding terrorism.

Rabbi Pini Dunner plans to protest Thursday outside the West Hollywood offices of luxury real estate brokerage The Beverly Hills Estates, the agency representing the property tied to the family of former Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, aka HBJ.

The sale of the Bel-Air mansion would “enrich one of the most powerful members of the Qatari royal family, who has an international reputation for supporting terrorist groups, including Hamas, for sheltering terrorist and extremist leaders in Doha and cultivating close ties to the Iranian regime,” Dunner said in a statement.

“This is not a glamorous real estate transaction. It is a sale that will provide blood money to one of the most dangerous monsters in the Middle East, who has a long track record of providing aid, shelter, and financial support to America’s worst enemies.”

Dunner, a senior rabbi of the Beverly Hills Synagogue told The California Post that “money from the sale of the house is going to be used to fund the enemies of America.”

“This is not just a shady businessman from the gulf. This is a war criminal,” he claimed of HBJ, calling him “the prime villain” and an ally of Hamas.

“This home that he built in Bel-Air is going to be sold because they need to repatriate the cash because their cash flow is a disaster as a result of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz,” Dunner added.

In a recent post on X, Dunner said the sale of the home is happening at the “very moment Qatar is reportedly maneuvering around Iran, money, and regional power.”

“He is cashing in on American misery, and laughing all the way to the bank. We cannot let it happen,” the rabbi added.

Dunner described HBJ as an “evil Hamas supporter” who has “never condemned the October 7 massacre.”

“There’s a direct line between HBJ and people being murdered on October 7 through his money,” the rabbi claimed.

Dunner admitted that he doesn’t have any power to stop the sale, but hopes that bringing publicity to it could result in having proceeds from the sale frozen.

“The greatest result I could have from the protest is that the broker withdraws the sale,” he said.

The rabbi said he notified The Beverly Hills Estates of his planned Thursday protest but has not heard back.

The brokerage did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Dunner has previously protested outside the mega-mansion, as well as The Maybourne Beverly Hills hotel, which is co-owned by HBJ and Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of Qatar and father of the current Emir.

In a recent Op-Ed for the Washington Times, Dunner wrote: “Qatar presented itself as a mediator after Oct. 7, yet it actively funds Hamas, hosts Hamas’ political leadership in Doha and maintains contact with its commanders in Gaza.

“No one should praise a government for helping secure the release of hostages whose kidnapping it made possible.”

If the manion sells anywhere near its listing price, the sprawling estate would become the first residential property in American history to crack the $400 million barrier, shattering previous records.
