Who’s ready to watch the NBA Finals like it’s 1999? The last time the Knicks and Spurs collided for a title, we were preparing for the gravest threat of them all: Y2K. Led by David Robinson and Tim Duncan, San Antonio won the series four games to one, but I’ll always have a soft spot for that gritty NY squad led by Allan Houston, Latrell Sprewell, Larry Johnson, and Marcus Camby.

Another member of that beloved Finals team? Jalen Brunson’s father, Rick Brunson, who played for a few seconds in Game 3. It was the only game New York won in the series.
