An eerily pale Nick Reiner shot a chilling glare at prosecutors during the latest hearing in the murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.

Reiner appeared in a Los Angeles court Wednesday, several weeks after pleading not guilty to first-degree murder charges in the grisly slayings of his parents.

Reiner looked pale with a full beard, and dressed in a yellow prison jump suit with blue pants. The hearing only lasted a few minutes, as his legal team announced they were still waiting on the autopsy reports of Rob and Michele.

While he sat mostly expressionless and mumbled his brief responses — at one point prompting the judge to ask “is that a yes?” — Reiner did give an evil glare to the prosecution when they introduced themselves to the judge.

Nick, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders in the Dec. 14 killings. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole, or the death penalty. 

The fatal stabbings of Rob and Michele shocked Hollywood to its core, with Nick arrested the day after his parents’ bloody bodies were discovered inside their $20 million Brentwood home.

Just hours before their alleged murders, Reiner and his parents got into a “very loud argument” at a holiday party hosted by Conan O’Brien, sources confirmed to The Post.

Nick also reportedly had a confrontation with comedian Bill Hader at the same event, storming off in a huff.

Just last week, Nick’s brother, Jake, broke his silence about his parents’ deaths.

In a Substack essay, Jake recalled the moment he found out about the alleged murders.

“I was in Union Station at a celebration of life for one of my best friends, Christian Anderson, who died in October,” Jake wrote. “It was at that moment I received a call from my sister Romy telling me our father was dead. Minutes later, she called back telling me our mother was also dead.”

Jake continued: “The 45-minute Lyft ride from downtown to the west side was unendurable. My world, as I knew it, had collapsed. I was in a trance. The only thing I could focus on was that I needed to get to my childhood home. I needed to get to my sister. I needed to figure out what the hell just happened.” 

He went on to mention Nick, writing: “Sure, any loss of a parent is devastating, but nothing compares to losing both of them at the same time and, on top of that, having your brother be at the center of it. It’s almost too impossible to process.” 

Rob, the 78-year-old “When Harry Met Sally” director, and 68-year-old Michele were discovered by their daughter, Romy.

Nick, who had a strained relationship with his parents, struggled with addiction and had been in and out of drug rehab since age 15. 

He was briefly represented by hot shot attorney Alan Jackson, who suddenly pulled out of the case after just seven days. 

On Jan. 7, the same day Nick was set to be arraigned, Jackson informed the judge overseeing the case that he had “no choice but to withdraw and ask to be relieved.”
